Clay Buchholz is in Triple A, but with virtually any of the other 29 organizations he'd be in the Majors. The Red Sox haven't given any indications of an impending callup, but Buchholz is tearing it up.
I am a huge fan of Buchholz, and he is on most mixed league waiver wires. If you have room to stash him, do it. If he's less talented than Joba Chamberlain, it's not by much.
Boston's rotation is deep, but they're a smart organization and Buchholz won't be held down in the minors if a veteran is underperforming.

Speaking of Red Sox pitchers tearing it up at Pawtucket, what do you think of Charlie Zink? Is there any chance that Wakefield's heir apparent makes his Major League debut this season, or any season in a Red Sox uniform?
On another note, I think that the constant playing time being given to Coco Crisp is proof enough that the Red Sox don't ALWAYS play the talented rookie over the worthless veteran.

Speaking of big league pitchers in the minors... I've also heard people recommend stashing Liriano (who's still having his ups and downs) with the expectation that he'll be up in mid July. Which pitcher (Buchholz or Liriano) do you think is a better bet from here on out?
