« Dan Wheeler Worth Hanging On To | Main | Roundtable: Exceeding Expectations »
Haven't seen this elsewhere yet - the Rangers have called up first baseman Chris Davis, according to his hometown paper. I took a look at him in this post. Big-time power.
Davis is available in CBS leagues, so go snag him if you have the roster space.

Hey, Tim
Would it be worth dropping Billy Butler to pick him up?

Keeper league: no way.
Yearly: flip a coin. Personally, I wouldn't.

Unless you need the HRs, then go for it. Depends on your format.

It's a 10 team AL Only yearly league, and I do need HRs and I'm first in AVG, so I went ahead and picked him up. Haven't had much luck finding power off the wire this year, having suffered through Jeff Clement (the first call up) and Jeff Larish. I might want to stay away any more Jeffs!
